All of our online lessons are delivered via Teams. Students can

communicate using the chat function and are expected to have their

microphones off.

The sessions are prepaid and cancellations are non-refundable.

Teaching Strategies

11 Plus Reading Comprehension:

Reading comprehension is tested in English 11+ papers, each session helps children learn how to approach an exam-style text step by step. We model how to read and annotate effectively, then support them as they answer questions that strengthen accuracy, confidence and understanding of literary techniques. We teach how to answer the long reasoning type questions with quotations and the effect on the reader.

11+ Creative Writing:

In our creative writing tuition, children use real exam-style questions as inspiration to create thoughtful, well-structured stories. We share model sentences to help them understand what a strong opening, middle and ending look like, and then support them as they craft and refine their own work throughout the session.

11+ Mathematics:

Our weekly 11 Plus Maths sessions give children clear, exam-style practice that builds confidence and accuracy. Each lesson introduces key question types and model methods, and pupils then work closely with the tutor to strengthen their problem-solving skills step by step.
